Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit)

This Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit) is basic reusable gastight suit intended for lighter industrial work. Made from a soft and durable material. Certified to EN 943-1.

DESIGN of Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit):
Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit) comes in five different designs to fit all user preferences:

– Encapsulating design type CV (with hump and visor)
– Encapsulating design type VP1 (with hump and larger visor)
– Non-encapsulating design type T (with face seal and without hump, front entry)
– Non-encapsulating design type TR (with face seal and without hump, rear entry)
– Encapsulating design for use with external air source, type Freeflow (see Air-Fed Garments)

GARMENT MATERIAL of Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit):
The Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit) material is made of a strong and flexible polyamide fabric, which is coated with PVC on both sides. This construction provides a soft and durable material with good resistance to a wide range of industrial chemicals.

SEAMS of Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit):
Seams are stitched and sealed with a welded-on tape on the out­side, except type TR wich has double-welded seams.

VISOR
The visor is made from a rigid 2 mm impact and chemical resistant PVC and comes in two optional sizes; CV or the larger VP1.

FACE SEAL
Non-encapsulating (type T & type TR) suits have a rubber face seal which is anatomically designed for optimum safety and comfort. Also, a Mini Hood comes with all non-ecapsulting suits. Read more about the TRELLCHEM® Mini Hood.

ZIPPER
A strong and durable gastight chloroprene rubber coated zipper. The zipper is closing downwards, for added safety, and is protected by a splash guard (flap).

The Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit) type TR has a rear-entry gastight PVC zipper, positioned on the back across the shoulders. The zipper is protected by a splash protective flap with Velcro closing.

VENTILATION of Trellchem LIGHT Hazmat Suit (gastight suit):
A ventilation system is included as standard (not on type TR) and adds safety due to a constant level of overpressure inside the suit. The TRELLCHEM® Regulating valve has 3 ventilation rates (2, 30 and 100 l/min) plus zero/off position and is as an option also available in a passthrough version for use with external air supply. GLOVES
Scorpio #08-354 neoprene rubber gloves in combination with a rubber cuff (not on type TR) for added safety. The gloves are attached with the TRELLCHEM® Bayonet glove ring system, which offers quick and simple glove exchange. Read more about Gloves.

FOOTWEAR
Suits can be fitted with either sewn-in socks/booties made of the garment material or attached PVC safety boots. The boots are fixed with an ergo­nomically designed ring attachment, which simplifies boot exchange and provides a smooth yet tight fit of suit material around the boot shaft. Read more about Boots.
